BASIC SHOTGUN
The Basic Shotgun class (NRA First Steps Shotgun Orientation Course format) provides a hands-on introduction for the safe handling of and proper orientation to a pump-action shotgun. The course includes classroom lessons and range time learning to shoot pump-action shotguns on a trap field.
Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; shotgun model parts and operation; ammunition basics; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the shotgun; and continued opportunities for skill development.
