BASIC PISTOL (Expanded)
The Basic Pistol (Expanded) class (NRA Basic Pistol Course format) is for students who need an NRA-certified course before progressing to additional NRA classes. The course provides a hands-on introduction to the safe handling of and proper orientation to revolvers and/or semi-automatic pistols. Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition basics; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning and maintenance; factors in selecting a pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
